Fractional data & AI leadership
Scoping, trade-offs, hiring. Someone who has seen the movie, two days a month.
Many companies need senior data and AI judgment before they need a full-time head of data or AI. Without it, the same issues come back:
- -Projects start on the latest demo instead of a written case, and stop after the pilot.
- -Technology choices are made one by one, without a view of where the platform is going.
- -The first data or AI hires are made without anyone able to assess them.
- -Leadership hears different answers from vendors, consultants and the team, and cannot tell which one holds.
- Senior judgment, a few days a month. Enough to steer, without the cost of a full-time executive.
- Decisions are written down. Each important choice gets a short document with the options, the costs and the reasons.
- We work with your team, not around it. The goal is that your people take the decisions on their own over time.
- Independent from the vendors. We have no product to place, so the advice is about what fits you.
- 01
First month: the map
Interviews with leadership and the team, a review of the platform, the projects and the budget. It ends with a short written view: what is solid, what is at risk, what we would do in the next six months.
- 02
Roadmap and priorities
The data and AI roadmap, with the use cases ranked by value and feasibility, and the platform choices they require.
- 03
Ongoing steering
Two days a month on average: project reviews, architecture decisions, vendor discussions and the questions that come up in between.
- 04
Hiring
Job descriptions, interview process and technical interviews for your first data and AI hires, or for the person who will take over from us.
- 05
Handover
When the team or a full-time leader is in place, we hand over the documents, the decisions and the context, and step back.
- -A 30-minute call on where you stand and what you need.
- -A first month to build the map and the six-month view.
- -Then two days a month on average, adjusted to what you need.
